Poem a Day/ April 24th, 2011/ Zachary A. Koch

EVERYTHING I SEE EATS ME/ Zachary A. Koch I used to walk a lot more.      Moon on asphalt. Dirty shovels. The woods out back. I made a dog against the tent wall. The train. Everyone’s car. Each ambulance. I listened to you breathe. After that I listened to nothing for a longer time.
